Great Flood of 2014
March 31 2015
As many of you know, my beloved studio was subjected to a huge flood in November. It was Monday morning, the 24th, right in the midst of the holiday rush. The main water line to the building ran directly under my floor and decided to burst that day. As you can imagine, it was a nightmare! Right then and there my whole business was put on hold as I did my best to navigate the mess and the insurance company. Here I am four months later - doing my best to pick up the pieces.
They say you get stronger when the universe chucks tomatoes at your head, right? Well, it's true. Cleaning up after the flood forced me to downsize and let go of things that didn't really matter. Yes, I lost some valuable things, but I also gained a whole new way of being by letting go of so much.
I moved into a new studio less than a month ago, and I'm working on new ideas I'm excited to share in the near future. If you notice a lack of products on my website as of late, well, now you know the story. We are never prepared for a disaster - fire or flood
Thank you to all of the wonderful people who have been incredibly supportive during this time of change.
